What is Intuitive Eating?

Intuitive Eating is a Mind and Body self-care framework. We will work together through the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating, to reconnect you to your innate wisdom. An Intuitive Eater listens to their hunger and fullness cues and eats based on what satisfies them. You will learn to be mindful and truly present throughout eating experiences. This awareness will spill out into all aspects of your life. You will develop a connection with your Mind and Body that will allow you to hear every pleasant or unpleasant feeling as a message that you can then respond to.

What is the structure of 1:1 sessions?

  1. Before we begin, we will schedule a call together to ensure that we will be a good fit to work together.

  2. Next, we will deep-dive into your history with dieting and/or food rules and beliefs during our Initial Session.

  3. From there, we can schedule follow-up sessions as you need. Sessions will be tailored specifically to you and your needs. Every person is unique - with different likes, dislikes and challenges. 

    • I would strongly suggest purchasing a 12WK UNLIMITED SUPPORT package, where you will receive weekly 30min sessions, as well as unlimited messaging/email support throughout the duration, for only $720 (please note: this package can be purchased after initial session).

  4. Worksheets and activities will be provided before or after sessions to assist you on your journey, as well as recap emails.

How long will it take to become an Intuitive Eater?

It is so difficult to say! Every single person is unique and will be at very different stages. This might be a quick process or it could take months or years. This depends on how deeply you are affected by Diet Culture. But I promise you it is worth the work! Once you have become an Intuitive Eater, you will NEVER again be caught up in diet culture. The trends will continue to change, and you will not be phased. You will have developed a strong trust with your Mind and Body.

Will I lose weight?

Intuitive Eating does not put the focus on weight whatsoever! You might lose weight, you might gain weight, or you might remain the same. You will find your Genetic Set Point (the weight that your body was predetermined to be and where you will be the most comfortable).
Please be prepared to put any desire for weight-change on the back-burner. Rather, we will create healthy, lifelong behaviours. Imagine what you can do with the freed up headspace when you are no longer thinking about changing yourself. What could you do with that time?!
